Rules & Policies

1.

All Points From Each CBF Sanctioned Race To The Boat Owner

2.

$100 Per Boat Entry To Be Paid By Each Hosting Club To Western Zone CBF For Overall Class Prizes Split 1st 50%, 2nd 30%, 3rd 20% And Paid To The Boat Owner

3.

The Overall Canadian Winners Will Be Based On Total Time For The Season For All CBF Sanctioned Races, Sponsored by that years overall sponsor. The Winning Boat Will Be Allowed To Run CDN1 And Must Have Competed In All CBF Sanctioned Races And Start In Every Leg, Allowed DNF But No DNS. The Winning Boat Will Receive A Prize Sponsorship, 2nd And 3rd Place Canadian Finishers Can Run CDN 2 And CDN 3 Numbers If They Wish. Decals Will Be Supplied By the sponsor. 

4.

All New Racers Must Have An Orientation Course And Driving Test; It Is Suggested That They Start Racing In FX or CX Class.

5.

All New Racers In Class Must Start Last In Their First Heat.

6.

All Boat Canadian Drivers" Must Have A Pleasure Craft Operator's License.

7.

CBF Anti-Doping Alcohol Code In Effect. Suspensions Issued After 0.03 Alcohol.

8.

All Race Boats Must Be In The Staging Area Before Or During The Green Flag.

9.

Standardizing Prize Money, All Classes The Same, 1st 50%, 2nd 30%, 3rd 20%

10.

All Racers In A, CX, Or FX Caught Cheating Will Be Banned For The Season. 

11.

On Engine Tear Downs, "All Gaskets And Other Expenses At Owners Expense"

12.

All Costs Incurred From Protests Will Be Paid By The Losing Party.

13.

All Protest Fees Are $1000.00.

14.

All Drivers, Navigators And Crew Must Have CBF Membership.
