Peace River Gold Cup
June 19, 20 & 21, 2026The race takes place in the picturesque Town of Peace River. Located in the heart of the Peace River Valley, surrounded by rolling hills and winding waterways. We encourage you to check out the gorgeous scenery, friendly locals, and tons of outdoor activities while you are here.
A tremendous amount of time has gone into preparing this race from volunteers, vendors and racers. Months of preparation and we are finally ready to race.
The weekend starts Friday, June 19th with the Show N’ Shine held on 101 Street in the Town of Peace River from 4pm -8pm, opening ceremony and Rotaract River Days events from 4pm - 12:00am. Saturday’s Races start at 10am at Riverfront Park - You will see boats racing up to 160 MPH. All ages are welcome in the Beer Gardens. Sunday starts with the Race to Watino and finishes with Circuit Races out at Riverfront Park.
Where To Stay
For spectators, Peace Valley Inns is a great place to stay. Located right downtown, it’s within walking distance of the event site and local restaurants—making it easy to take in all the action and enjoy the town.
For race teams, Best Western Plus Peace River is a top choice thanks to its convenient location close to the boat launch, allowing for quick and easy access on race days.
If you’re looking to camp, Peace River Adventures Campground is the place to be. Situated right in town and just minutes from the boat launch, it also has access to trails that connect directly into the community—perfect for soaking up the full event experience.

If you're looking to catch all the excitement of the Peace River Gold Cup jet boat races, there are several great spots to watch the action.
On Saturday, Riverfront Park is the place to be for a great view of the racing. And on Sunday, head back to Riverfront Park for the start and finish of the long leg race as well as the circuits.
For a different perspective, Murphy Flats is an excellent location to watch the long leg race on Sunday. With its sweeping views and prime location, you're sure to catch all the adrenaline-fueled excitement of the Peace River Gold Cup jet boat races at these fantastic viewing spots.
