Get ready to rev your engines and hit the rapids at the Rat 200 jet boat race in Grande Prairie, Alberta! This annual event is not for the faint of heart - with a fast and challenging course that will have you gripping the edge of your seat. Watch as professional and amateur racers compete to be the top dog on the Wapiti River. Don't just sit on the sidelines, join the excitement! The Rat 200 is an event that's sure to get your heart racing, with a blend of speed, skill and adrenaline that's guaranteed to be unforgettable! Prize Payout: To be determined at a later date.

All boat entries - $750.00 per boat
Driver & Navigator CBF Memberships - $ 180 each
Crew Member CBF - $20 each
Meal Tickets - $35 each (Typical price per boat, with 4 meal tickets and 1 crew membership is $1270.00)

A Visa machine will be available at registration.
Order of starts for Leg #1 will be determined by the date on the entry form and when payment was received.

All new racers in their class must start last in the heat(s).

Prizes:

Trophies will be presented to the first, second and third place in each class. $100 per boat entry will be paid to Western Zone CBF for overall class prizes, the remainder of entries fees will be paid out in prizes per class as follows:

U.I.M. rules for River Marathon Racing will apply as well as the following:

In order to race, each boat must be equipped with all the items on the attached checklist.
Boat drivers, navigators and driver of chase vehicle must have a valid CBF membership; these will be available for purchase at registration.
All racers must have their Pleasure Craft Operators’ License.
All race drivers require CBF medicals. Doctor’s Medicals are valid for 3 years.
All boats must start in the 70 m staging area.
Hans devices are mandatory for all racers.
All racers will be required to complete a medical questionnaire as requested by CBF.
Motors of the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place boats in each class will be subject to a tech inspection immediately after the last leg of the race, at Magoo’s Landing.
Any racers caught cheating with their engines will have their motor confiscated & sold with proceeds to charity; this racer will be banned from the next 3 races.
Oxidized Fuel restrictions in place for each class. See Class Spec section for details. Race fuel will NOT be provided.
Racer Profile: Please complete & return the racer profile for the race program, as soon as possible.

If you're looking for the best spots to catch the FluidPRO 200 jet boat race in Grande Prairie, you won't want to miss out on the action at Obrien Park for the Saturday legs. For Sunday's race, head to Pipestone Campground for a prime viewing location. With these locations in mind, you're sure to have an unforgettable weekend experiencing all the thrills of the Rat 200.

While you are planning your trip, keep in mind that the boat launches and rivers will be closed during the events for safety reasons. But don't let that discourage you from visiting the three beautiful locations!
