Rules & Policies

All Points From Each CBF Sanctioned Race To The Boat Owner

$100 Per Boat Entry To Be Paid By Each Hosting Club To Western Zone CBF For Overall Class Prizes Split 1st 50%, 2nd 30%, 3rd 20% And Paid To The Boat Owner

The Overall Canadian Winners Will Be Based On Total Time For The Season For All CBF Sanctioned Races, Sponsored By Outlaw Eagle MFG. The Winning Boat Will Be Allowed To Run CDN! And Must Have Competed In All CBF Sanctioned Races And Start In Every Leg, Allowed DNF But No DNS. The Winning Boat Will Receive $5000 From Outlaw Eagle Manufacturing, 2nd And 3rd Place Canadian Finishers Can Run CDN 2 And CDN 3 Numbers If They Wish. Decals Will Be Supplied By Outlaw Eagle.

All New Racers Must Have An Orientation Course And Driving Test; It Is Suggested That They Start Racing In FX Class.

All New Racers In Class Must Start Last In The Heat.
6.
All Boat Canadian Drivers" Must Have A Pleasure Craft Operator's License.

World Anti-Doping Alcohol Code In Effect. Suspensions Issued After 0.03 Alcohol.

All Race Boats Must Be In The Staging Area Before Or During The Green Flag & Have 15 Minutes After Their Start Time Before Getting A DNS.

Standardizing Prize Money, All Classes The Same, 1st 50%, 2nd 30%, 3rd 20%
10.
All Racers In A, CX, Or FX Caught Cheating With Engines Will Have Their Motor Confiscated And Sold With Proceeds To Charity; This Racer Will Be Banned For The Season.

On Engine Tear Downs, "All Gaskets At Owners Expense"
12.
All Costs Incurred From Protests Will Be Paid By The Losing Party.
13.
All Engine Protest Fees $1000.00; Other Protests To Remain At $500.00.
A red flag displayed by a support (safety)boat or race boat on the route implies an emergency. All approaching boats must stop.
Yellow Flag
A yellow flag displayed by a race boat means caution or danger. All approaching boats must slow down.
BLACK FLAG
A black flag if displayed by a race boat means that boat needs a tow. You will also notice a black flag displayed at the timing are signaling the ten minute before the start of each leg. During this time the course is closed to traffic and no boats may be launched.
WHITE FLAG
A white flag will be raised one minute prior to the designated starting time of each boat and lowered simultaneously with the raising of the green flag at 10 second to start the race.
GREEN FLAG
A green flag will be raised ten seconds prior to the designated starting time of each boat and lowered at each designated start. When it is lowered-GO! The boats running time begins.
CHECKERED FLAG
A checkered flag is raised with the arrival of a boat at the finished area, and lowered when it crosses the finish line.
