Peace River Gold Cup
July 5, 6 & 7The race takes place in the picturesque Town of Peace River. Located in the heart of the Peace River Valley, surrounded by rolling hills and winding waterways. We encourage you to check out the gorgeous scenery, friendly locals, and tons of outdoor activities while you are here.
A tremendous amount of time has gone into preparing this race from volunteers, vendors and racers. Months of preparation and we are finally ready to race.
The weekend starts Friday, July 5th with the Show N’ Shine held on 101 Street in the Town of Peace River from 4pm -8pm. Saturday’s Circuit Races start at 10am at Riverfront Park - You will see boats racing up to 160 MPH. All ages are welcome in the Beer Gardens. Sunday starts with the Watino Long Leg Race and finishes with Circuit Races out at Riverfront Park.
GLEN FREELAND SHOOTOUT 30K
To honor Glen Freeland there was a memorial Shoot-out during the 2023 Peace River Gold Cup. This shoot-out was for circuit races only, the fastest combined times of all three circuits for each class won $7500 and were still in the running overall. There needed to be a minimum of three boats in each class to qualify. Be safe and have fun!

Best Locations To Watch the Peace River Gold Cup
If you're looking to catch all the excitement of the Peace River Gold Cup jet boat races, there are several great spots to watch the action.
On Saturday, Riverfront Park is the place to be for a great view of the racing. And on Sunday, head back to Riverfront Park for the start and finish of the long leg race as well as the circuits.
For a different perspective, Murphy Flats is an excellent location to watch the long leg race on Sunday. With its sweeping views and prime location, you're sure to catch all the adrenaline-fueled excitement of the Peace River Gold Cup jet boat races at these fantastic viewing spots.
